Adrianna Korey
With a dynamic career reflecting her deep commitment to both artistry and education, Adrianna Korey is a multifaceted trumpet performer located in South Carolina. She is a founding member of The Calla Project, a new chamber ensemble that debuted last spring in their residency at the University of Utah. Her fondness for collaborating in chamber settings started in college: competing annually in the National Trumpet Competition, eventually leading to her ensemble receiving 1st Prize in the inaugural Ginger Turner Ensemble Competition at the International Women’s Brass Conference. Adrianna performs regularly across the Lowcountry and along the East Coast, and has been fortunate to play abroad in the Aruba Symphony Festival and the BAC Credomatic Festival de Música (Costa Rica).
Adrianna is also an accomplished administrator dedicated to fostering the growth of arts communities. She served as the Assistant Director for the International Trumpet Guild Conferences 2018–2023, including the first virtual ITG Conference (2021), in which she had the privilege of performing Barbara York’s Ripples in a recital entitled “Breaking Boundaries: Diversity in the Trumpet World.” Adrianna maintains a flourishing private studio, with student success reflecting in state-level ensemble placements. In 2022, Adrianna joined the Division of Education at historic musical instrument manufacturer Conn Selmer. She is the Educational Support Representative for the Eastern Region.
Adrianna holds her Master of Music in Performance from West Chester University, and her Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Music Management Studies minor from the University of Delaware.
